does not check.

How do you know it does not check?
The only way it will automatically download the messages is if you have the
"automatically download message" checkbox checked.

Please put your comments in the bug. From the reporter:

I know it does not check because I have it set to check every
15 minutes and In-Joy to time out at 20 minutes of inactivity.
I lose my connection every time. With Netscape and the IBM
browser, the connection will normally stay up all day.

I have it checked.

I am not able to reproduce the problem.
I have the latest nightly build and it is checking and downloading my mail.

The reporter needs to give more information but perhaps bug 134480 would be
worth looking at?

Reporter, do you have mail/news open when this happens? Or just the browser?

I only have mail/news open.

I put in some timer fixes for some other issues, so this might be fixed. Could
you check a current build?

I downloaded the 4/25 build and this appears to be working. Will this
fix be incorporated in the Mozilla rc? I have run into the same problem
with 1.0rc.

This fix will be in the next RC (RC2)
