Per Kit Cambridge: Please move the open bugs in: * Cloud Services :: Firefox Sync: Backend * Cloud Services :: Firefox Sync: Build * Cloud Services :: Firefox Sync: Cross-client * Cloud Services :: Firefox Sync: Other clients * Cloud Services :: Firefox Sync: UI into * Firefox :: Sync and graveyard the old components.

The typical way we'd move bugs is *all* the bugs, not just open. Would that be acceptable?

That works for me!

So the following milestones exist in Cloud Service, but not Firefox: mozilla20 1.3b1 0.5 0.8 0.4 1.0 beta3 1.0 2.0 1.0 beta1 1.2 0.6 0.7 1.0 beta2 1.5 1.1 mozilla11 1.3 1.3b3 1.4 1.3b4 1.3b5 mozilla5 mozilla46 mozilla9 1.6 mozilla17 mozilla7 mozilla26 mozilla40 mozilla6 mozilla36 mozilla18 mozilla8 mozilla10 mozilla35 mozilla13 mozilla21 mozilla19 mozilla14 mozilla12 mozilla16 mozilla15 mozilla30 mozilla48 mozilla38 mozilla23 mozilla24 mozilla25 mozilla28 mozilla27 mozilla29 mozilla32 mozilla31 mozilla33 mozilla34 mozilla37 mozilla39 mozilla41 mozilla43 mozilla44 mozilla47 mozilla51 I think it will be easier to go through and change the milestones on all those bugs (with a script) rather than clutter firefox with additional unrelated milestones.
meanwhile: 'Firefox'::'Sync' is missing the following flag(s): review (attachment) blocking-weave1.3 (bug) blocking-weave1.0 (bug) blocking-weave1.2 (bug) blocking-fx-sync1.5 (bug) system-review (attachment) blocking-fx-sync1.4 (bug) I guess I can add those to Firefox :: Sync.
Ooh, Weave 1.0, blast from the past. :-) I don't think we use any of those flags anymore, except for "review (attachment)", if it's the same as the r? flag that MozReview sets. Please feel free to remove them if it makes migration easier.

Step 1, for all bugs in the impacted components, migrating them from 'mozillaXX' to 'Firefox XX'
Any news on this, Dylan? From our side, losing the flags in comment 4 and milestones in comment 3 is totally OK, if it makes migration easier. Sync has changed so much that I don't think we'll be trawling through those old bugs. But, if you'd like to keep and migrate them, that's fine, too.

I'll get to this on Tuesday (the 20th)

Hey it's friday, admin time. Let me do this now.
Okay, this has some incompatible flags. I'll have to figure out how to do that.
Hi Dylan! Any updates? I see there are 233 open bugs in those components; if worst comes to worst, I can move the relevant ones into Firefox :: Sync by hand, and close the rest...

Hey Lina, at the all hands this week I'll go through the laborious process of syncing the incompatible flags. Or more likely, I'll begin writing a tool to do this.

There is also Firefox Sync: Crypto, did that need to be moved as well? dkl
