It may or may not be similar to bug 1370539, but as of current mozilla-central, the gradle-dependencies job is still busted, but it's most often not running, so it doesn't show up as busted on treeherder.
Last time it happened on m-c was on c3cd8c58fa87, and it was green back then.
The failure, as per a try push has the same "could not determine packageName" error message as in bug 1370539.
