User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0
Build ID: 20170524174214
Steps to reproduce:
I updated Lightning for Thunderbird to Version 5.4.
The Thunderbird Version I am using is 52.1.1 (64-Bit) in Ubuntu Linux 17.04
I tried to edit a calendar entry or to create a new Entry.
Actual results:
The date and time fields are just plain edit fields. When I enter them via mouse or keyboard I only can edit them by changing the contents with the keyboard.
Only by entering the field and pressing the up arrow key on the keyboard it appears (see attached screencast)
Expected results:
The date picker should show when I enter a date field and the time picker show when I enter a time field.

This should be fixed with TB 52.2.0 which should be out in the next two weeks.
