Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
Build ID: 20170612121707

Steps to reproduce:

Using Thunderbird 52.1.1 on Ubuntu, this behaviour is new since a few weeks (probably related to an update).
Tried with a clean profile with same results.
When editing an event in Lightning, clicking the date, datepicker doesn't show up, have to type the date. Same thing for the time.

Actual results:

When editing an event in Lightning, clicking the date, datepicker doesn't show up, have to type the date. Same thing for the time.

Expected results:

Datepicker shows up.

Probably a dupe of bug 1332867.
Yes it is a dupe. I thought the datepicker used to open when clicking on the date, but it seems that I misremembered. I have the same situation as in the "broken" example in the screenshot on bug #1332867
I'm using XFCE with libgtk packages v3.20.9-1ubuntu2.1
I'm not sure I can mark this bug as a dupe, feel free to do it.
sylvainfaivre, please install Thunderbird 52.2.0, released on June 14, 2017. If it is the same problem as described in bug 1332867, it should be fixed in this release.
