Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020413
BuildID: 2002041306
If the "show all headers" option is selected, the scrollbars don't open to all
one to view the message. Only the headers which will fit within the preview pane
are shown.
This is already known, but I just noticed that if the "show all headers" option
is active and one then clicks on the +- to expand and then contract the headers,
when the headers are contracted the full header list is still shown in the
preview pane area. The preview pane white area isn't repainted to allow the
message to be shown. However, if the mailnews client is then minimized and then
maximized the white area is repainted and the message is visible. This appears
to only be a window refresh problem
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open mailnews client.
2.open an email message in the preview pane
3.set the View/Headers/ to All
4.click on + to expand the header list if it isn't already.
5.now click on the - to collapse the header list. What do you see?
6.now minimize the client and then remaximize it. Now what do you see?
Actual Results: The white area in the preview pane isn't refreshed when the
headers are collapsed after viewing with "show all headers".
Expected Results: The preview pane window should be refreshed immediately and
the message should be viewable.
Also noticed, if after clicking the + header expander and then the - header
minimizer, one then clicks on the preview pane resizer grippy and starts to drag
the grippy, the preview pane window is immediately refreshed and the message is
readable.
Really a dupe of both bug 167405 and bug 167468 but duping against first as that
is the first problem this bug is about.
