From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020413 BuildID: 2002041306 I have 5 mail accounts, all with the password saved. When I click Get Msg >Get all mesages. nothing happens. Moz doesn't check any of the accounts. The result is the same if the File>Get Mesages For>Get all mesages is clicked. [ctrl]+[shift]+T does not work either. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click Get Msg > Get all mesages Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: All mail accounts should be checked for mail Running 1.0.0 rc1 4/13:06 Have not checked other recent builds. This was working in 0.9.9 and in the current NS release. I've also noticed when the message window is opened the Get Msg Icon stays greyed until a diferent folder is selected. This may be related as this behavior is new in this build.
Bug is in 0.9.9+ build 2002041408 as well.
Wait, it may be me. I created a new profile and set every thing up the same way. Now it works. I've compared the prefs.js from the two profiles and can't find any significant differnece, save that the original one contined some Netscape specific entries (AOL and such). It doesn't seem that sould break this feature.
Under "Tools" -> "Web Development" there is an item "Javascript Console" You can check if you see any errors there: Start Moz with old profile Start Mailnews Launch the Javascript Console, Click "Clear" button there (to clean out irrelevant error messages) Then try click "Get all messages" and see if it triggers any errors/warnings Doesn't sound too relevant but disabled "Get Msg" button is bug 111102 / bug 113874
No errors, no warning, just no response. Nothing in JS console or Java console. I'd like to know what killed the prefs.js and how it could possible effect the "Get all Msgs" I'll leave it unconfirmed unless I can figure out what broke the prefs.js
still happening with current builds ?
