ctrl-shift-p and see the poor rendering on that private browsing window.

If you open a new tab the page get's rendered properly.

Can't reproduce: Not broken with my Build 20170627183545 on Debian Testing x64 with Default Theme.

* No, can't reproduce with a lightweight theme and trying some different settings.
* Which OS do you have?
* Could it be possible that this specific leightweight theme wants to set a custom background for about:privatebrowsing? Have you tried different themes?

Hm, you shouldn't have Times New Roman (or similar) as font on about:privatebrowsing. So this shouln't be with a clean profile, or not? What are your settings? 
I thought about:privatebrowsing is a chrome url (bug 1294570) that isn't styled with stylo yet?

and can't repro either with latest nightly :(

Of course, the pref needs to be on , then I repro.

I'm running Fedora 26

Just tried with Compact dark and I get the same results. I also get that with the default theme.
The funny part is the second tab that renders properly ... but the first one always renders badly.

Could you reproduce it in a fresh profile? (Just to be sure that no addon or another pref is responsible or to find out how to get there.)
