When double-clicking a message to open it in a new tab, Thunderbird should switch to the existing tab if the message is already displayed

Details

When you open a message from the thread pane by double-clicking it, Thunderbird always creates a new tab, instead of switching to an already existing tab showing the same message. This way you end up with multiple tabs showing the same message. Maybe if Thunderbird would use the message-ID as target for the new tab, it would switch to an existing tab with the same name (thus the same message), instead of opening a new tab.
