Remove or update Help > Firefox/Nightly Tour to point to / restart new onboarding tour somehow

The menuitem in the Help menu still points to the mozilla.org tour link, which then goes to SUMO. We should either remove the entry or ensure it starts the new tour.

hi Cindy,
could you please comment on this? not sure if this should be considered as project scope.

I think it makes sense to redirect that link to the new product page that's under development. Michael, what do you think?

Yes. We should also update the default bookmark that points to the sumo page to go to the new product page.

It's just a preference change for the tour URL,
http://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/app/profile/firefox.js#224
but we need some unique URL to indicate that the overlay should be opened
upon opening newtab page, like adding a hash "about:newtab#onboarding".
But I remembered that Activity stream may need the hash for their development.
Kate, do you have any updates on using hash for Activity stream?

Cindy and I were talking about having the menu item open a webpage (to be developed) and not the overlay tour. This way it's always accessible, even if the person has completed and dismissed the tour.

based on previous comment, remove whiteboard tag.

We aren't using the hash for anything that will ship in AS for 57, although it may be used in the future.

Just because it's not about the onboarding overlay doesn't mean it wouldn't fall under the onboarding team scope IMO…

This would be fine, but we should either do this or hide the item for 57, IMO. Leaving it there and then having it open the old tour, but then redirect to SUMO, seems undesirable. I agree with Matt that making this decision and, ideally, implementing it, seems like something for you and/or the rest of the onboarding team to do, so I'm reinstating the whiteboard flags.
