From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020416 BuildID: 2002041603 When http://www.fanime.com/FanimeLP2002v11.html (173kb; no images, but CSS and lots of tables) is loaded and I go into Print Preview, the scrollbars are 1/2 as big as normal. Each time I change paper orientation from Landscape to Portrait (or back), the scrollbar becomes ~1/2 as big as before, until it reaches 1 pixel. After that, it crashes. (Talkback ID: TB5285847Z) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load http://www.fanime.com/FanimeLP2002v11.html 2. Select Print Preview (abnormal scrollbar is now visible) 3. Change paper orientation--scrollbar will change width Actual Results: Scrollbar keps halving (sp?) it's own width until it is 1 pixel wide, then Mozilla crashes Expected Results: Scrollbars should not change size Talkback ID: TB5285847Z
Crash occurs in GKLAYOUT.DLL (second talkback: TB5286137M)
scrollbar size is bug 120616
As I see it, this bug really is a DUP of bug 120616
You may be correct that the cause is the same as 120616, though I would like to point out that there are significant differences (at least in the behavior): what I saw was behavior that lead to a crash, and nothing in 120616 indicates that it crashes, just is annoying. In addition, when the other bug manifests itself, the scrollbars start out at normal width and scale with the page contents: what I saw was the scrollbars _starting_ at 1/2 size and constantly shrinking (without having to exit and reenter PP). If this really is the same bug, then my apologies for the duplicate.

WFM in build 2002061712 PC/Win98. Reporter, can you still reproduce this in a current build? If not, I would assume that bug 120616 did resolve this.
I haven't seen this bug manifest in several weeks (months?) so I'm willing to assume it's been fixed. (I wasn't following bug 120616 so I don't know when this bug disappeared relative to that one being fixed.) Even though _I_ think it's been fixed, I am not marking this bug "Fixed" because A) I don't know the proper procedure for closing out a bug, and B) The last time I tried it I fubar'ed the bug entry (!).
