This seems to be very similar to bug 1244904, but this is on Windows. The assertion failure here is the same as in bug 1364764. Looking at the timing of this bug vs the disabling of that bug, it looks like the assertion just moved from one test to another. I think we should land the r+'d patch that ehsan put on that bug, as it will stop the assertion failure at least. Thoughts?

I just went ahead and landed the stuffs. This should go away once those patches merge around.
