I keep updating my password, but the updated password doesn't ever get saved (even though I tell it to).

Site: https://ccadb.my.salesforce.com/

I'm using 56.0a1 (2017-07-13) (64-bit) on MacOS Sierra 10.12.4.

It works on 55.0b8 (64-bit).

I don't know if this is a site-specific problem, or if it is because I have multiple accounts for this site (see attachment). I have not been able to reproduce the problem on other sites, but I do not have multiple accounts on other sites so do not know if it is related to the drop-down or if it is site specific.
This seems to work for me on this site, even with "multiple accounts". I don't actually have an account here but I fooled the password manager for submitting the form and then saving the password even though the login failed. With two accounts I could update the password and the next visit the PwdMgr replayed the updated value. (7/12 nightly on Mac OS)

Another possibility is that your password file is corrupt, and so it's not saving the update. I would expect that to affect other sites as well though. Maybe it's a problem with that specific entry? There might be error messages in the web console or browser console that will help. Does the "signon.debug" pref still do anything useful? If so setting that to true might help, but I only saw one message gated on it and it didn't look all that helpful.

Trying this with a new profile might confirm whether it's your profile or whether you hit the problem on that site regardless.

Matt: any other ideas?

This sounds like a duplicate of bug 1322673. See debugging steps in bug 1378448 comment 2.

Attached the debugging output.

Note that I tested with a new profile, and it works. So, it does appear that the problem only happens with my regular/old profile.

Thanks for the logging. I see

> Unexpected match of multiple logins. nsLoginManagerPrompter.js:961

so this is a dupe of bug 1322673.
