User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/59.0.3071.109 Chrome/59.0.3071.109 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Info: System: Linux/Lubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (64bit) As of late my terminal produces a curious info message when I use thunderbird. I use the following command within the terminal: rosika@rosika-Lenovo-H520e ~> thunderbird Actual results: I get the message (not always but rather often) Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window Error moving window, closing window That goes on endlessly! Expected results: Curious though that thunderbird itsfelf doesn´t show any unusual behaviour whatsoever. It just works well. Yet the terminal output got me worried. It seems it has something to do with the junk-folder. After starting thunderbird it automatically scans for new e-mails. Amongst them there are some considered to be junk. Therefore thunderbird puts them in the junk-folder. An that´s when the error-message is displayed.
looks like those messages are printed by one of your add-ons (possibly Mailbox Alert, but could be different one) try disabling your add-ons.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes, indeed. I´ve got Mailbox Alert installed. Now I come to think of it it seems that I get those messages since the date of installment of this add-on. So it seems I´ve got to disable Mailbox Alert. It´s a shame though as I installed it for a reason. Thunderbird´s own mail-alert service worked rather unreliably. Rosika
I meant, try disabling it to see if the message is really from the add-on or not. if it's from the add-on, it would be nice to report the issue to the add-on developer.
