While doing tech support, I came across Kaspersky Protection being installed in Firefox, as part of the anti-virus protection suite.

However, it violates the guidelines by re-enabling itself after a Firefox restart after manually being disabled in about:addons, and periodically reinstalls itself. This reinstall bypasses the about:newaddon page completely.
Note that I couldn't even remove the add-on from about:addons, only disable it, so it seems to be installed globally.

The Kaspersky Protection version installed was 5.0.141-4-20161031140250.

Furthermore, as :mao wrote in bug 1194084, it injects (remote) scripts as well, it injects them into Google search results to show how safe each result is.
What's the add-on ID? It appears to be different than the one in bug 1194084.
