Not always noticeable, sometimes pretty blatant - fast MacBook Pro.

A way to reproduce this with at least a little consistency is to rapidly open a few tabs, rapidly close them, and rapidly open a few more. Every so often you'll see undefined flicker as the title of a tab.

Ugh, submitted the comment too early.
The rate of it being noticeable increases if a page is loading (for example, immediately after submitting a comment on a bug), and interestingly, the title goes from "New Tab" -> "undefined" -> "New Tab". I wonder what's going on.

Dupe of bug 1382139? Is your nightly and AS up-to-date?

I can reproduce this on the latest nightly. The other bug 1382139 was it getting stuck as "undefined" as it wasn't initializing. Here it seems to be some timing issue with visibility change and getting strings to the content process fast enough.
