Steps to reproduce:

Opened the Options page for several WebExtensions add-ons:

- Language Tool Grammar Checker 1.0.13
- Page Translator 1.0.0
- Print Edit WE 19.0 (beta) (one of my add-ons) (this version soon to be released)
- Tile Pages WE 1.0 (beta) (one of my add-ons) (first version not yet released)

In each case, clicked on a <select> element in the add-on's Options page to try to open the drop-down menu.

Tested with both Firefox 54 and Nightly 56.


Actual results:

With Firefox 54, in all cases, the select drop-downs are displayed correctly.

With Nightly 56, in all cases, the select drop-downs are NOT displayed.


Expected results:

With Nightly 56, in all cases, the select drop-downs should be displayed.

Kris,

I have re-tested the four add-ons mentioned above with Nightly 57.0a1 (2017-08-04).

The <select> drop-downs in the add-on Options page are now displayed, BUT they are NOT displayed correctly.

The positioning of the drop-down menus is incorrect. 

Generally, the drop-downs are displayed at the bottom of the browser window, some distance below the <select> elements.

I have attached a couple of screenshots showing this for 'Print Edit WE' and 'LanguageTool - Grammar and Style Checker'.
 
So I don't think this is a duplicate of Bug 1381321  (unless the fix for that bug has not yet reached Nightly).
