Details

The Manage Bookmarks is so broken on RC1.0 on Windows that I had to revert to 0.9.9. After opening up the Manage Bookmarks feature, it is not possible to open any of the folders to edit/add/delete bookmarks. This is a serious show stopper, much more serious than Mozilla's inability to display what folder a bookmark is in, after found in a search.

Have you tried a new profile, and completly uninstalling your previous build

This is a bug in the installer when installing over 0.9.9. Doing an install into a clean directory should fix this. Duplicate of "Preferences UI and Mailnews Tree does doesn't work after installing over 0.9.9" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 135017 ***
