Remark: I made this a Win98 bug, because I have no experience with installation
on multi-user systems, actually, I only installed under Win98 myself. If this
idea is useful for other contexts, please change.
This suggestion here would be particularly useful for those of us who install a
new version on a daily basis.
It would be nice to have a file (like mozilla-install.ini) which automatizes the
full installation process. It should save all the information you have to enter
with the installer. Let me give an example:
My typical installation is as follows and I would like to just start the
installer and have the rest done automatically:
1) Uninstall previous version.
2) Select installation directory
3) Select components (e.g. unselect MailNews and Chatzilla)
4) Choosing the Program Folder
5) Denying default browser (see bug 131106)
6) Making Mozilla the default browser for various file types and protocols.
One way to implement this could be to allow saving the choices during one
installation.

No, bug 95068 is about installing one version on many machines. The solution
described there is using a CONFIG.INI which is version specific.
This bug here is about one config file which works for different versions (a
nightly each day ...).
