The new tab page is missing a favicon in the tab, so it looks weird.  Attached a screenshot.

I've managed to reproduce this issue on Nightly 57.0a1 (2017-08-11). On the latest Nightly Build ID 20170917220255, the favicon is displayed on each new tab.
Marking as verified - fixed, on Windows 10 x64 and Mac 10.12.
