Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to a long email, newsgroup post, or web page. The issue is reproducable in all of them.
2. Do a print preview.
3. Ensure print preview show there is more than one page.
4. Use the vertical scrollbar, down arrow, OR page down key to scroll down to the next page.


Actual results:

When not viewing page 1 anymore, the white box's page number does not change. It only changes if user uses the print preview's toolbar's page next icon or manually input a non-1 number to the specified page number.


Expected results:

The user should see the page number updated when using the keyboard and vertical scroll bar in print preview.

a) Are you sure that that is a 2.48 regression? I tried 2.40 and 2.10 and there also
   Page number in White input field does not change when I scroll
b) Are you sure that that is a bug? Same Behavior in FF 55
c) possible DUPs found with <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=dorem&remaction=run&namedcmd=DUPs1391498&sharer_id=41036>:
   Possibly DUP of "Bug 184537 - Print preview doesn't dynamically update page number after scrolling or adjusting settings (doesn't reflect page in view)"

Wow, a 15 years old bug. Yes, it is the same one. Weird that I never noticed that minor issue. Heh. Darn due to fixes soon. :(

So DUP for now, please test SM when Bug 184537 will have become fixed.
