The widths of drop down boxes are unnecessarily narrow which results in
difficulty / inconvenience in viewing.

I filed this bug after seeing bug 137358...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open pref menu
2. Select one of the following panels:
 a) Appearance -> Fonts -> Minimum font size
 b) Navigator -> Internet Search -> Default Search Engine
 c) Mail & Newsgroups -> Message Display -> Plain Text Messages
 d) Mail & Newsgroups -> Return Receipts
 e) Advanced -> Mouse Wheel
