As :hoosteeno pointed out in bug 1392796, comment 1, there's an in-product link [1] to /firefox/desktop/customize, which is sorely out of date.
I see a few options:
1. Create a new (potentially Fx57 themed?) /customize page in the /firefox hub and redirect to it from /firefox/desktop/customize
2. Give the existing /firefox/desktop/customize page a facelift to match other /firefox hub pages
3. Find an outside page (SUMO? AMO?) to either redirect to from /firefox/desktop/customize OR link to directly from in-product

Given that this page is sorely out of date, and we (currently) have no plan to update it or create a new feature page in our 57 roadmap, I'd propose that we just remove the page and redirect to SUMO. We can always update it later and remove the redirect.

Possible SUMO article: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/customize-firefox-controls-buttons-and-toolbars

Based on the Firefox 57 brief [1], it looks like customization isn't going to be a key message in our product marketing plan, meaning we likely won't have this on the new product page either. The format of this old page is also pretty heavy, trying to communicate lots of things all on the same page.
I agree with comment 2 to redirect this to the SUMO article (which in itself will obviously get updated for 57 too). Fabio, thoughts?

Thanks for the ping. Check with :hoosteeno on this. He's done quite a bit of analysis on these pages.

:hoosteeno - What do you think about the URL provided in comment 2? We can set up a redirect in bedrock (easy), or request a change in product (which is probably the right thing to do).

If we did request a change in-product we'd still probably need a redirect through, since it would not update in older builds of Firefox?

The URL :agibson points at is great -- it already includes both customize information and a link to AMO. I agree with comment 6: we should redirect customize to the SUMO article in comment 2 and also (I will) file a see-also bug to adjust in product.

Noting that the suggested SUMO URL in comment 2 is final and has been merged to master (not yet pushed to prod).
