Simion, I see you tested on bbaa76973a - I think the patch to fix this bug landed 5 commits later. Would you mind looking at this one again?
Verifying that this landed on all branches:
Master: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/commit/23cc22f56c0bf3cea15675d10ed0b1f7f830c51d
v8.x: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/commit/dcb49aef1cbf3f857c41f378a5f65b0f6922b4f9
v9.x: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/commit/7497f40927c8b547753d05b042a43fe21b082343
On the latest 8.3 build I am indeed seeing E_Opened_App consistently as the openedApp call was put into the onStartResponse block in LeanplumIntegration.

Re-tested with the the latest master build and indeed I am seeing the E_Opened_App event consistently after opening the app so closing as invalid.

I was able to verify the fix on the master branch and on the 9.x on Bug 1392351. I am currently unable to verify on the 8.x branch as I am unable to build that branch locally.
