Actual results:
Would like, for example to annotate emails with password when receive email with registration information.
Expected results:
Have a function that would allow me to easily add additional annotation information like password to a received email. Would be nice if it were different color/font to differentiate between received text and what I added.

I think there is an addon which will add notes. Check addons.mozilla.org
I am not aware of anything which will password protect an individual email. And I doubt we would put efforts into doing such a thing.

The Edit Email Subject addon will do the job for me in this regard. For anything else I will copy and paste into a new email.
