Hi, testing this link, the XML feed renders OK in firefox (see screenshot), perhaps I do not understand what you mean by not working.
Can you add some more details about your problem.

Interesting, seems like your RSS reader is not happy, perhaps due to some validation issues.
Ok will look into.

I also see a problem with https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/feed?product=firefox
In Firefox, when you subscribe using Live Bookmarks, it creates a "Recently updated questions" Live Bookmark but when you go there, the feed fails to load (see screenshot).
Subscribe doesn't work in SeaMonkey either. "Subscribe to this feed using News & Blogs" takes you to Mail and Newsgroups but nothing appears under Blogs and News Feeds.

Subscribing to discussion forums such as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors/feed and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/knowledge-base-articles/feed do work in both SeaMonkey and Firefox so I'll change the component to Questions.

Thanks for the additional info, will look into the issue this week.

I think
...]>
and
...
should be used instead of
in the feed.

FYI still working on this. I had a bunch of problems getting a local install of kitsune up and running (new computer).

Yes this year.
Note while it is unfortunate that this is not working it is not an urgent fix.

For a week now - to change - the rss Thunderbird does not work and today Firefox too.
It's a shame of someone like mozilla.org that the same mistake happens so often.

poljos - I appreciate you reminding us of this but the bug remains a low priority. I do apologize for not looking at this when I originally stated but again this is a low priority. This is in our backlog and will not be forgotten.

This is no longer working for me right now. I get prompted to open a "feed" file which is: application/atom+xml (0 bytes). This also happens with https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/feed?product=firefox at present. I'll change the component to General.

Here's a screenshot showing the file download prompt I see when I use the "Subscribe to Feed" option under Question Tools, in any support forum question. I tried it both while signed in and signed out, as well as in different support forums, with the same result.
Since comment 22 indicates that this bug is a low priority, should a new bug be filed to temporarily remove the "Subscribe to Feed" option in support questions?

Is there anyone at all in charge of a support site? It is normal for nobody to fix the RSS feed for such a time and constantly repeating! It's a shame for Mozilla. Do not send me the emails, but fix it, pls.

Thanks for the ping on this one. We will see if we can take a look this week.
Again we know this is broken but this is a low priority fix. I realize for some folks on this thread it is not a low priority and I apologize for the inconvenience.

RSS feed links such as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/feed?product=firefox and "Subscribe to feed" links in individual questions such as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1221221/feed now result in a Page Not Found.
See also bug 993403 where RSS breakage was reported/fixed in 2014.

We finally figured out a fix for the Feeds issue. It's complicated, but it had to do with an odd interaction with the Django Syndication Framework and our WSGI server (Meinheld). See the github issue below for more:
https://github.com/mozilla/kitsune/issues/3017
The fix is rolling out to production now.
