Javascript detects OS and browser. Prevent user from accessing. Would like a way to pretend to be another OS/Brower. I tried changing the user agent line in prefs to match the one of IE, but it doesn't seems to be enough. Javascript methods involved for that URL (http://logitelnet.socgen.com/) are : getType() and getVersion() called when clicking on the big round area "Accès abonnés". Build ID 2002041711
Maybe we could mark this as a dup of bug 111933 ?
Summary: User agent line not enough. Need to pretend to be another OS/Browser. → User agent line not enough. Need to pretend to be another OS/Browser.
Gilles is right, marking dupe of bug 111933. I don't think Mozilla developers will add another way to change 'user agent faking'. It's even planned to be removed: see bug 136141. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 111933 ***
