User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20170824053838
Steps to reproduce:
- edit bookmarks within the bookmarks toolbar
- delete a Separator line within a bookmark folder (any position)
Actual results:
- the entire bookmark folder is deleted – and all bookmarks saved inside are irreversibly lost. Very annoying...
Expected results:
- only the separator should be deleted
- an undo command would be nice...

I suspect dupe of bug 958848.
Probably the problem is that the menu background is considered the same as the folder, when removing the separator the action may inadvertently be applied to the menu, and thus to the folder.
The Library window (Show all bookmarks) has UNDO/REDO functionality to recover bookmarks deleted by mistake.
