User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.91 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Port Thunderbird profile to new computer Actual results: Multiple empty "popstate-<numeric>" folders added. These did not affect all accounts (I have several). Expected results: This should not have happened.
I move e-mail between computers all the time, I've never seen a "popstate-<numeric>" folder. popstate.dat is a file in your profile to control pop download. Yes, you can delete unwanted folders from the profile (at your own risk). However, it would be nice to know what produced those folders.
such issues certainly exist. see bug 1106251
