Details

When using either of JC's test sites [1][2] with a red USB key Yubico provided us (labeled "U2F Test"), the USB verification does not work. However, the browser crashes [3] upon removal of this key.

I don't know what is special about this key, but with guidance, I'm happy to perform more investigation.

This looks a lot like the other problems we have with our current macOS implementation. This will hopefully be fixed by bug 1398268 as well.
