Steps:
- Try to play the attached file in an e10s window, but it fails to play, claiming the file is corrupt.
- Open the same file in a non-e10s window, and file plays just fine

I'm not able to reproduce this issue, with current nightly/nightly on 10.13 it plays ok for me.

Can you test again with the latest nightly/release and confirm if it's still happening?

Doesn't sound like it based on Alex's test.

Hmm, on release we don't provide the dev feature in nightly that lets you open a "non-e10s window". How did you test this on release? Did you turn e10s off through prefs and restart? 

Note the non-e10s window in Nightly shouldn't be used for testing. There are special code paths to keep that running that release users never hit. Please test with the full feature either on or off.

Ritu asked me to try as well, and I am unable to reproduce using 10.13.1 Beta 2 - latest Nightly and Beta.
