Build 1999091509M11: Win32/NT4
(Linux and Mac: Have seen these problems in general. Will check with more detail
later)
Overview: When an account panel is selected then the following issues do not
match the spec.
Spec: http://gooey/client/5.0/specs/mail/accountSetup/accountSetup.html
1. If the Mail Account level is selected then it should display "Earthlink
Settings"
2. If the News Account level is selected then it should display "Earthlink
Settings"
3. Problem: With account level selected the Reply-to Address box is blank.
Expect: It should have grey text stating "Only needed if different from your
email address".
4.Problem: There is an option to "Compose message using html".
Expect: It should actually state "Compose messages using plain text"
Mail Only
5. Problem: No "Advanced" button is dislayed.
Expect: An "Advanced" button should display below the "Edit..." button.

not implementing #1-3 for PR1.
I disagree with #4 (i.e. I disagree with the spec) and will take it up with
glick
no Advanced for PR1.

Component: Front End → Account Manager
The reason this wording was choosen is so that the format would be consistent
with the text in the Address Book. In the Address Book Card Edit dialog, there
is a checkbox that reads "Send email as plain text (no html)" (changed from 4.x
"Prefers to receive rich text (html) mail").
This was specifically a request of Sol Goldfarb's, Mail PM.
If the reverse wording is preferred ("Compose messages using html"), it should
be consistent in both the Address Book Card Edit dialog and the Account Setting
dialog.
Account Settings and Address Book UE spec changed based on decisions made in
Mail Issues Meeting 10/14/99.
Account Settings Identity Dialog: 2 Radio Buttons
"Compose messages using:"
- "Plain text" - Default for News accounts
- "Rich text (html)" - Default for Mail accounts
Address Book - Card Edit dialog: Checkbox
"Prefers to receive rich text (html) mail" - Default is unchecked.
