I'm not sure if that's even possible, but I finally discovered why so many languages get uppercase strings wrong (relatively common in Android): that's Pontoon's fault, since it yells at them saying that they're translating an acronym. Notice cak, es-MX, fa, ne-NP, sr, trs, vi. https://transvision.mozfr.org/string/?entity=mobile/android/base/android_strings.dtd:activity_stream_link_more1&repo=gecko_strings

Do you think we should disable the acronym check per se, or just for specific projects? Note that it's not entirely easy to enable/disable a specific check in Translate Toolkit: https://github.com/translate/pootle/issues/4553
