Right now LP is only available on EN in these countries:


US, CA, AU, UK, DE, TW, HK, SG

set at 10% via the switchboard.


Can we expand the % to 50%?

Jean, the title says Android but the platform tag says "others iOS", is this for Android?

If it's for Android, you mean simply update the en % to 50%, no change about countries, right?

So sorry, I think I cloned the wrong bug. I changed it to Android.

If I remember correctly the conclusion in our last discussion is to stay with 10% while adding more Regions than current, so bug 1411064 should cover everything we need for now. @Jean please feel free to corret me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

:sebastian helped with pushing the needed change in production.

LeanPlum experiment is now available for all users (100%) which have set the language used on their device to be "eng|zho|deu|fra|ita|ind|por|spa|pol|rus" (global)

(The other languages beside eng, zho, deu were added for bug 1437699)

Petru, thanks for flagging Kat on this. I would hold off on doing any implementation work until we hear from Kat / Marketing on whether this is still needed, especially now that we've rolled out to so many more countries. I will set up a meeting to determine this soon.

Clearing firefox status flags as it sounds like this is handled on switchboard and no client side change is being done at least for now.

Susheel - The languages that Petru mentioned are a little bit different than the naming I have, does "eng|zho|deu|fra|ita|ind|por|spa|pol|rus" cover these languages/countries?

en_US, en_GB, en_CA, en_AU, en_UK, en_DE, en_TW, en_HK, en_SG, de_DE and zh_TW
en_IN, en_ID, fr_FR, it_IT, id_ID, pt_BR, es_US, es_ES, es_MX, pl_PL and ru_RU

Michele, so it turns out we could not target on a locale (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23824_01/html/E26033/glmbx.html) basis - switchboard doesn't grant us that targeting yet. We have to do some work to enable it.

We can target on a language basis though, so we just turned leanplum on for entire languages, regardless of country. LP has country targeting abilities in their campaigns though.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense or if you have a follow up.
