User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171023180840 Steps to reproduce: Click on hamburger menu. Actual results: Window pops up a bit too far from screen edge. Expected results: Window should open right at the edge, like in window (not fullscreen) mode.

Stephen, you were recently looking at the Firefox menu in fullscreen mode. Does this ring any bells?

Huh, I haven't seen this before. Could you try with a new profile? Is this a regression? If so, could you use mozregression to narrow this down to a specific range?

I've tried with a new profile. No difference. Any build I try I get the same shift on that popup. Went back till 2011-01-01 version, which has it too (back then it was a button with a star in place of hamburger).

Found the cause of this. Turns out if you set position of Dock to the right of the screen you get this behavior. Autohide must be off.
I'm able to reproduce this on 10.12.6. I believe this probably has the same underlying issue as bug 1410056.

I can still reproduce the issue on macOS 10.12 with full-screen mode and normal mode as well with native fullscreen and without having the dock to the right side. I cannot reproduce the issue in fullscreen mode with macOS M1 mini 11.2.2 but I can reproduce it in normal mode by positioning firefox under the dock and opening the hamburger menu. As comment 6 stated I think this is the same issue as bug 1410056.

I agree this doesn't happen with newer macOS, for example 12.4.
Do we care this point about 10.x?

It's worth keeping on file, but lowering priority.
