With Quick Launch switched on after closing Mail & News for the first time the
Mail & News window fails to reappear. It is listed in the Window menu of the
browser as a blank entry (I think). Only by terminating the mozilla process can
Mail & News be accessed. When the "invisible" Mail & News window has been
activated the "Exit Mozilla" menu item in Quick Launch is grayed out.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch Quick Launch on and start Mozilla
2. Open, use and then close Mail & News
3. Attempt to open Mail & News again from Quick Launch or using menu in Browser
window.
4. No window!
Actual Results: No Mail & News window. Blank entries appear in the Window menu
and all other Mozilla functions appear to work normally.
Expected Results: Mail & News window appears
dup of bug 136874 or bug 138239? (some third party themes can cause this.)
Reporter: Please make sure you do a "clean" install (uninstalling older versions
of mozilla first)
Reporter, marking this a dup of a theme bug (144027 which happens without Quick
Launch on) and verifying. If you try the suggestion in comment #1 and still see
the problem, please reopen.
