Steps to reproduce:

Text with background colour, such as code on stackoverflow:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2430000/determine-if-string-is-in-list-in-javascript
Appears pixelated and hart to read, especially on HiDPI
Platform: linux with intel graphics, webrender & layer-free enabled

Also happening on my older laptop with an intel chip on up to date arch. So this seems to be intel-driver related rather than specific intel hardware.
This seems to be fixed for me on latest nightly (20171218100313). Can someone else confirm?
