Appears pixelated and hart to read, especially on HiDPI

This is happening with kernel 4.14-rc8 and 4.13.12 on Arch linux, I can hardly do more "up to date"...

Also happening on my older laptop with an intel chip on up to date arch. So this seems to be intel-driver related rather than specific intel hardware.
