Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new profile. Enable retain-dl. Restart firefox.
2. Go to youtube.com
3.Search for something (example : Eminem) on the youtube search bar
Actual results:
1. As you type text, the text will flicker with the speed of the caret
2. If you mouse-over the suggestions, they disappear.
Expected results:

I was able to reproduce this bug with the mentioned Nightly build and layout.display-list.retain=true.
