This is a meta bug to cover a variety of things we found along the way to landing client-side stackwalking. It turns out that some parts of the process need some attention to make things better and easier to work with.

In some cases refactoring, in some cases updating, in some cases removing, etc. But this meta should block everything that we find, and serve as how we know when we're done.
