The "download-toolbarbutton" binding can now be removed by adding the ability to include custom contents in the "toobarbutton-badged" binding.

Seems the have less compatibility involvement than the originally proposed patch in bug 872317, not having add-ons compat to consider surely helps.
I didn't test the final UI result, but I assume you did.
