_ext _content Scripts _register .js | xpcshell return code: 139
Thought maybe the ccov failure would shed a light on where it's crashing without symbols, but it was just a misstar.
Component: WebExtensions: General → Testing
Depends on: 1389805

This test was added in bug 1332273, Nov 20. The first failure was seen almost immediately, but failures were infrequent until Dec 1. All failures are on Android, where xpcshell crash report symbols are currently broken (and may remain so for a while). :rpl, can you have a look?
The sudden increase in failure frequency on Dec 1 appears to be from bug 1421099: https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-inbound&filter-searchStr=android%20debug%20xpcshell-8&tochange=4d506fe670b27412e1512ba87b6822db92780e6f&fromchange=de118e31bada2ce43ce86de7a098664cd6e3dfe1
This test is currently disabled on Android, we are investigating the reasons about the xpcshell-test crash in Bug 1422823 and based on the ongoing investigation (Bug 1422823 Comment 5 and Bug 1422823 Comment 6) it looks that once Bug 1423913 is fixed this test file doesn't trigger an xpcshell-test crash anymore, e.g. this is a push to try that re-enable this test file on top of the changes from Bug 1423913: - https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try&revision=45cc3a1d7424161fa2054b6d357f64e96b0d2637
