Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter any URL that is longer than the URLbar 2.OR: resize Mozilla Window resp. ...the effect showed up in all versions since 0.9.9
Never saw this on Linux. Does it happen with a fresh profile too? Have you added this to your current prefs.js: user_pref("nglayout.widget.gfxscrollbars", true); If so: dup of bug 141495 I saw an older bug on it too - will search.
OK, comment #1 fixed it and identified it as a dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 141495 ***

Patrick: what part of comment 1 fixed it? A fresh profile?
Creating a fresh profile _or_ deleting the nglayout.widget.gfxscrollbars line fixed it.
