It seems like the first letter of the protocol ("h") is partially hidden, possibly due to the appearance of a Home+ and an Android icon in the address bar.
The full URL should be visible on initial load.

As of bug 1271998, URL are positioned such that the base domain is right aligned, so for any given URL bar width (which in turn will vary from phone to phone - on my phone for example the "h" is wholly hidden) there'll always be some URL where the beginning will just be cut off.
