The View menu in Mail/News uses the shortcut 'o' for both "Message Body As" and
"Message Source".  How about using 'y' for "Message Body As"?

Mozilla trunk 2002-05-03-08 on Win2000.

This is worksforme now with trunk builds 20030103 on linux, winxp removing,
resolving as worksforme and verifiying

verified the shortcut is B and works on linux and winxp trunk builds 20020103,
probably fixed when 30888 was fixed.
