I am not able to enter German umlauts with the usual compose key combination
(e.g., [compose]+o+" gets ö (ö) ) in any input field (textarea...).
I guess this is a special SUN Solaris Sparc problem.


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.take any input field
2.try typing:   [compose] o "
3.

Actual Results:  [compose]+o+" gets o"

Expected Results:  ö (ö)

copy and paste for the umlauts works

This is apparently a bug in Xlib on Solaris... See comments in the bug this is a
duplicate of...
