What did you do?
================
1. General viewing topics
2. clicked into a topic, to get to the topic view with suggested topics near the middle
3. The button above Suggested Topics, "Watching" is cut off at the bottom, half way through the text.
What happened?
==============
The button didn't display properly, couldn't tell it was a button.
What should have happened?
==========================
Full display of the button should be shown.
Is there anything else we should know?
======================================
- happens almost all the time, can replicate it.
I've used the snipping tool to get some screen caps of it, but didn't see a file attachment anywhere. Let me know how I'd go about doing that.
Add the screenshot, let me know what specific information you need.
So after doing a bit of comparing I've noticed when the button is wrong the "i" info icon is above the text! Whereas, on a working button the icon is to the left of the text. I hope think helps out more.
My none expert opinion would be it loads the button a certain way depending on the size of the browser at the time and saves the format for a period of time, as the format is the same when changing browser size.

I can't reproduce in Firefox 58 or Safari 11, or Chrome 63.
sennesk: What browser are you using? Can you give more details about your replication steps (such as the URLs and the links you clicked)?

Yes sure.
I was using a library computer, the firefox version was 45.7.0. I guessing it might be becasue of the older version then, sorry if so.
Edition: Windows 10 Education
System Type: x64-based Processor
Detailed steps to reproduce:
Start here being signed in: https://discourse.mozilla.org/
Choose "New" topics: https://discourse.mozilla.org/new
Chose a topic e.g. https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/how-can-a-page-script-call-an-event-handler-in-a-content-script/23550
Scroll down to the "Watching" button, says "Normal" in this case.
Should see the button being cut off at the text.
As this happens to ever topic i choose, and you were unable to reproduce, it must be this version that does like that button.
Let me know if this bug is still relevant even if it's an older version of firefox. Also, let me know if you need more info. I didn't think the ram and processor would be useful.
King Regards,
Kevin

Considering Firefox ESR is currently at 52.5.2, I don't think we want to fix this, especially since it's just an aesthetic problem.
But you should encourage your library to upgrade the version of Firefox they're running ;)

sennesk, thanks for reporting this, and getting back with the affected version. If you do decide to contact your library's tech support, here's more information on the Extended Support Release (ESR):
