Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171130114045 Steps to reproduce: I have some local servers which I work on. When rebooting them, I have to reload the page a few times, to see if the server has fully accomplished the reboot. Actual results: When the server isn’t ready, the URL always get’s prepended by "www.". Expected results: This is pretty annoying when working with local servers and having to restart them several times, for when "www." gets prepended, the page cannot load anymore. Because of • thus problems, • the prefix being deprecated, • pretty much every web page not using that (anymore) and • modifying the user’s input without explicit confirmation, i vote for getting rid of this injection.
By the way: Your user agent string specifies X11 while I don’t even run X11, but Wayland instead… maybe FF uses XWayland…
