Please reference bug 1428269 comment 6 that we'll need some steps to enable the number support:
1) Ignore the textControl check for marked element
2) Implement preview node in the number control frame
3) Disable number input keyboard behavior if the input is marked as autofill
I'll create at least 2 bugs for simply preview(2) and dropdown access(1 & 3) separately.
