1435518 - After editing a message, I notice some of the text has font defined but the second part is a different font

Steps to reproduce:

Je saisis un texte qui me parait etre enregistré avec mes polices et formats définis en "modèle"


Actual results:

Et quand je regarde le mail dans "messages envoyés"
Je découvre très souvent que le message est enregistrés:
- première partie avec police et format définis dans mes préférences,
- seconde partie avec d'autres paramètres
 Cf l'aspect sur fichier joint


Expected results:

J'aimerai avoir la même police et même format sur l'ensembe de mon messge !!!

Sorry, but the BMO language is English.

I understand that when you're writing a message, you lose the format, mainly the font and the size. There can be many reasons why this would happen, you need to tell us what your doing exactly.

As you see on attachment the firsy part is in "comic sans MS" police and "texte principal" format and from " je croisque ..." format and police is changed alone.

Yes, I can see that the font has changed, but how did that happen?

I don't have explanation on when it happens!
Even sometimes I only discover that when I receive my msg back with the answer!

May be it could be when the msg entering is interrupted; in my case I have often pop-up "your message have not been saved" due to bad performance of network and I work with imap process. 
I will check.

I do not have more precise conditions of occurrence of problem
I can add that I'm not sure that it is in relation with interruption of msg entering.
And I still have the problem!

There are a few occasions where the pre-defined composition font is lost. It's mostly where you stop the flow of writing your message and click elsewhere in the message. When you return to where you left off, the font setting might have gotten lost.

We have many similar complaints about this issue, most summarised in bug 1348750.
