This problem has disappeared, as well as a few others, once I got rid of Grammarly for Firefox and True Key by Intel Security. I had reported another bug and in there we narrowed it down to those two extensions. Here are the links to the profiles and the actual bug report: First Bug Report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1434850 Initial performance profile: https://perfht.ml/2EvwXy3 Performance profile with True Key disabled: https://perfht.ml/2FRGQWv Performance profile with True Key and Grammarly Disabled: https://perfht.ml/2H5Qwhp True Key Bug Report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1441431 Grammarly Bug Report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1441429 True Key as of now isn't in the actual addon store. I had to download it from the website. I don't know if there is support/optimization for it yet in Firefox Quantum. Thanks!
